Bandage - The bandage would cover the protagonist's face, so instead of having a specific person as the main character so everyone would know who it is, in the trailer the main person is never revealed. This counteracts the star theory, allowing us to make the protagonist mysterious so people don't have to realise it isn't someone famous straight away.

Paper with Writing On - The paper with writing on would develop another character who isn't shown on screen. This would allow the audience to find out enough to know there's more than one person, but at the same time not allow them to know too much. At the same time, this creates a sort of 'undeveloped storyline'.
